About the Artist
Bridget Lorraine (she/her) is a writer and artist based out of Vancouver, B.C. Her work has been published in ‘decomp journal’ and ‘coalitionsworks.’ As the founder of Bumbling Bee Studio, Bridget spends time deep in sketches and drafts for her recurring comics, zines and other artistic ventures including watercolour painting, cross stitch and any other artistic medium she finds herself doing that month. Recently, Bridget created ‘The Buzz Club’ as a way to bring local creatives together to support and inspire each other. Gatherings of The Buzz Club have included craft social hour, bookmark making workshops and more. Her spotlight series, ‘What the Buzz!,’ aims to highlight working artists in Vancouver across a vast number of specialties. Upcoming projects for Bridget include a collaborative pop-up market, clothing launch and more. In her free time she is an avid reader and enjoys modern dance.
